Aloha Animal Outreach is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit on Oʻahu. This page explains what information our website collects and how we use it.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, and message, plus your phone number and organization if you choose to share them.
- "I'm interested" form on a dog: your name, email, message, phone number if you share it, and which dog you asked about.
- Donations: when you give, Stripe processes your payment. We receive your name, email, gift amount and date. Your card or bank details go to Stripe and are never stored by us.
- Site visits: we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies or identify you.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to you, follow up about a dog, process and thank you for your gift, send your tax receipt, and keep the records a nonprofit is required to keep. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the site: Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), Supabase (storing form messages about dogs) and Netlify (hosting). Each one handles your information only to provide its service to us.
Monthly gifts
You can change or cancel a monthly gift at any time by replying to your receipt email or writing to us.
Children
Our site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete the information we have about you, email alohaanimaloutreach@gmail.com. Some donation records must be kept for tax and accounting reasons.
